Mashoto Lucky Mokobane aka Mash.O or rather known as The Drum Herbalist by the Herbal 3 Record family ,brings a rejuvenating afro tribal sound to the dance scene. Brewing various African instruments and making it to the high rotation playlist on your airwaves.
With master pieces like “What you believe” ft Themby V, the drums get you moving while the vocal inspires the burning ambition inside of you to follow your dreams. He went on to venture bigger horizons working with the likes of “Kwabatsha” from Zimbabwe recording another smash hit titled Zvamuka, even though you are not familiar with the language barrier of the vocals you find yourself singing along to this song ,proving how music is a universal language. With Mash.O being the “African Dream” himself he titled track 3: “The African Dream”, with no vocals he still manages to captures emotion and communicates through instruments. Moving to the club banger “Angeke Ngivume” ft Ma-V, this track is guaranteed to make you tap your feet in rhythm while it is playing in the taxi or car on your way to work or school. Followed by another hit which falls on track 5; “The Village” Is one of the first singles released by Mash.O that instantly made it as the “youth’s anthem” which made it to greater heights and later got compiled in the Soul Candi 10 Year Celebration album.
Herbal 3 Records has a lot to offer in the debut album of this future legend. Working with other great music minds the likes of Divalash, Oluhle, Ncediwe, Ma-V, Lombard to mention a few.
